Oh livejournal, here I am again at your mercy.
A quick catch-up to the present day, then i'll try and keep this thing going:
Finished my 3rd year at UCI, now on the 6-year plan. Half-way done, oy. I'm single. Enough said about that. I've been elected the Marketing Director of KUCI Just went to Toronto for Beta convention, which was amazing. Redesigned the Beta website: http://www.ucibeta.com Taking summer classes, working, and looking for internships for the rest of the year My radio show is now on Wednesdays, 6pm-8pm PST. http://www.assortedaudio.com
I think that's all that's needed. Operation revive lj in progress...

Rock on.

Quarter In Review...Since I never post anymore. Yes, I suck.
Classes: Good classes Winter quarter...Psychology had to be the easiest class i've ever taken. Physics was one of the hardest...well, the final was.
I won a selection to get an AR parking permit, which rocks my world. I can park in AR spots in 12B. Coincedentally...ALL my classes Spring quarter are next to 12B. I love when things work out.
It's official, i'm in Physics major-only classes. That curve will be non-existent. *fear* 20 people enrolled in that class. That's it. Crazy.
I missed out on CALPIRG Winter quarter, because I had class at the same time. But Spring I have class until 5, and meetings are at 5. Awesome.
You might be surprised, but I joined a fraternity. Well, I joined a group of guys starting a fraternity. Beta Theta Pi. Awesome guys, and no...we don't have twelve-pack tuesdays. We're not bros. We're not any stereotype, except that we're a bunch of guys.
Been working at KUCI for the last 10 weeks, it's been fun. Usually hanging out with Mike the engineer, which is fun recording PSAs.
I've gone to a lot of shows lately, i'll talk about that in a different post.
Next Quarter!
All science classes...finally. Physics, ICS, 2 Math classes. We'll see how it goes...the perpetual goal of getting a 4.0 in a quarter...
I hope to update more...who actually reads this? Perhaps I'll write how much Spring break was the weirdest ever.

What a weird fucking week... A recap is in order, but the capstone of this week is today.
This morning I was mildly electrocuted during work. While I've regained my hearing and feeling in most of my arm and the stinging/redness has subsided, my fingers still are numb and my arm still feels asleep.
My entire body aches, however, from muscle wear or nerve overload, or something. I just hurt.
No joke.
Let's see what tomorrow brings...

If there is at least one person in your life whom you consider a close friend, and whom you would not have met without the internet, post this sentence in your journal.

For all those who actually still read this...I have a question.
In January, i'm planning applying for my own show on KUCI, the radio station at my school...
Does anybody actually believe I can pull it off?
I'd love to have some of my friends give me names of bands, or whatever they want for me to check out...because at the moment I'm having doubts about how good my music taste actually is.
Thanks. -Alex

I'm back to Livejournal! I promise a post following my last final of the year...which is at 1:30-3:30.
Hoorah.

Threw together/updated my list of bands that I want to see, that are possible to see, that I have not already: Some are more exciting to me than others, all of these i'd definitely see for free. It varies in how fervent my want to see them is.
( The Secondary List )
Already have tickets to cut off Alkaline Trio and Dave Matthews Band...so that'll be good Boredom

Mmm....3:34am. Hot damn.
I was reading old UCI police logs and laughing hysterically. Maybe i'll edit this post later with some gems. Found the coolest online comic, besides QC. It involves a clever imaginary sheep that this whole family talks to. It's cute. Yes, cute.
Sleep? Sleep.

Kurt Loder: You're a writer, have you ever thought about writing a book?
Maynard James Keenan: No, not really. I was going to write a book once, and I did that thing where you open up your Microsoft Word and ...
Kurt Loder: And you just sit there staring at a blank screen.
Maynard James Keenan: Yeah, totally. So I started searching for Internet porn instead.

Why haven't news networks been covering this bill introduced in the house and senate...
Universal National Service Act of 2003
For all those lazy people: it requires all men and woman, college students NOT exempt, between the ages of 18 and 26 to serve two years in the armed forces.
If this is passed... For the love of god...
My parents said they'd be the first to help me burn my draft card. Hoorah.
I'm probably too blind to serve in the armed forces...and if they only knew me, they wouldn't want me.
In other news: I have a fucking cold, and I'm trying to study for finals. Why can't I get a cold...some other time. So yes, sleeping now. Studying all day tomorrow. Night.

What's up with me... I suck as far as LJ goes recently.
What's up now: Friday is the last day of the quarter. Hot damn. Been doing so much work. So much. Wow.
Does anybody else find it sacrilege to write a 12 page report for computer science. I do.
I'm having the best time with Irene...mmm, picnics rock.
I'm trying to cram all this stuff into this post...and by cram I mean cut and just think about writing.
I get two days (namely, the weekend) to study for my finals. I have two on Monday. gag.
Back to back. double gag.
Then I'm going to see Modest Mouse Monday night, awesome. Then another final on Friday.
Spring break! I see you in the distance, come to me. Sweet vacation-ness, almost here.
I just wrote an entire paper on nazism in a couple hours...so I must now honor it with some original Wolfenstein.
Night.
